Description de la reliureFull blind-tooled pigskin over wooden boards; remains of original clasps; vellum pastedowns manuscript in Carolingian miniscule and musical notation (Antiphonarium).
Note sur le décorSeven-line epigraphic initials “C” and 'A' is supplied in red and blue, with lilac pen-work (leaf A1r, 'Tabula super tractatu de herbis'). Initials in alternate red and blue in the rest of the Tabulae. Initials and paragraph marks supplied in red through the whole text; some underlinings and capital strokes in red.

On leaf v3v ('De avibus') approximate quotation (by heart) from John Florio, ‘Giardino di Ricreatione’ (London 1591), by an anonymous Italian-speaking subject: ‘Ama Idio et nun falire, fa pur bene et lassia dire, il tempo passa la mo[r]te viene ...’. And on the titlepage of 'De Animalibus', the same hand: 'Morcendo chome ho detto di sopra vento'.
