noteBound in two volumes (Genesis-Psalms / Proverbs-Apocalypse). Annotation: Fifteenth- and sixteenth-century marginalia throughout, commonly cropped by binder. Many appear to be print-shop emmendations (see Sig. [A]10v, where the letter from Goff notes an MSS correction on col. 1 line 15, also present in the CUL copy - the same hand has made corrections throughout). The chapters of the NT have been divided into sections deliniated by MSS capital letters - frequent cross-references. Extensive MSS marginalia to sig. D12v. Three extensive pieces of marginalia within NT: sigs. Z6r, CC4v, CC9v. Initial blank contains extensive MSS annotations (themes for sermons?). The final printed leaf and six further leaves at the end of vol. 2 contain MSS. additions - lists of Epistles and Gospels. Provenance: Presented by F. Jenkinson, M.A. Librarian 1891 May 2. [i.e.: presented by Francis Jenkinson (1853-1923).Nineteenth-century armorial bookplate on front pastedown: James Elwin Millard, D.D. [i.e.: James Elwin Millard (1823-1894)].
