The Swedish queen issued a privilege for Janssonius in December 1647 to establish both a printing house and a book shop in Stockholm. He never went to Sweden himself, his business was managed by Johannes Pauli (1649-1650) and Henric Curio (1651-1656). In 1654 Henric Curio printed one item with the Janssonius imprint in Uppsala, probably not with Janssonius’s equipment, however. The royal privilege was valid even for Janssonius’s son, but he does not appear in imprints.
