However, shortly after this he transferred to Gloucester Hall (later Worcester College), and graduated BA in October 1629 and proceeded MA in 1632. After being ordained Barksdale acted for a short time in 1637 as chaplain of Lincoln College at All Saints' Church, Oxford.
