Binding note16th century Gothic-style full leather binding. Blind stamped brown tanned skin. The book was bound in 1517 in Krakow for Gyulai László who was studying there at the time. Blemishes and scars on both front and rear board. Corners exposed (back). Main frame with flower stamps and leaves. Decorative motifs surround the central panel. Small elements mark each corner of the frame. Four catch-plates, no straps. Spine deocrated throughout. Deteriorated at the top and tail. Leather worn out where the raised bands stick out, with two labels.
Bound with a small manuscript fragment inserted at the beginning of the volume.
