Note According to Jakó Zsigmond, Márton's life is poorly documented. Apart from the fact that he was already a member of the Chapter of Oradea in 1538, not much can be said about his return to Transylvania following his education abroad. The last recorded evidence about his life is from the 22nd of April 1547, when Ilosvay István of Eger is named suffragan bishop in Oradea instead of Haczaki. The circumstances of this decision are unknown.
