Binding note16th century parchment binding. Early manuscript title "ΒΙΒΛΙΟΠΩΛΗΣ Κ[ΑΙ] ΦΙΛΟΜΑΘΗΣ" on spine. Later smaller manuscript title "λεξικόν σουΐδα" on top of spine. The number 9 (old shelfmark /number in the handwritten catalogue by Ierotheos Florides) written by hand on bottom of spine. Manuscript note in Greek in ink on the bottom of the front cover reading "ει μη ήσαν ιατροί ουδέν αν ην των φιλολόγων χείρον". Sprinkled edges.

NoteOn a1r: Ownership inscription / book curse in Greek in ink on the first leaf, below the previous ownership inscription. The main inscription belongs to Monastery of St. Catherine and the modification adds the name of monk Clemes twice. Inscription reads: "νυν δε" ["Κλήμεντος ενός" added in a different ink before the main inscription] ["της αγίας Αικατερίνας" blotted out] των σιναϊτών, και όστις το ξενώσ(η), ή το πουλήσ(η), ή το χαρίσ(η) ή το εκλοτριώσ(η) εκ ταύτης της μονής των (εν μεσσήνη) να είναι του αναθέματος αυτός οι γονείς αυτού και η μερίς αυτού μετά του Ιούδα του προδότου". In a different ink added underneath "άνευ θελήματος εμού Κλήμεντος του σιναΐτου έτους αχμβ΄".
On a3r: "νυν δε η παρούσ[α] δέλτος υπάρχ[ει] της μονής της αγί[ας] αικατερίνης των σιναϊτών της εν μεσσήνη και όστις την ξενώσ(η), ή την πουλήσ(η), ή την χαρίσ(η) ή την εκλοτριώσ(η) εκ ταύτης της μονής των (εν μεσσήνη) να είναι του αναθέματος εκείνος και οι γονείς αυτού μετά του προδότ[ου] Ιούδα". In a different ink added "άνευ θελήματος εμού".
On ΖΖ5v, underneath the colophon: "της αγίας Αικατερίνας των σιναϊτών".
