Binding noteBrown calf binding by monk Nikephoros Asemines, whose mark (his nitials AN with a cross) appear blind-tooled on the upper and bottom part of both covers. Blind tooling in 16th-century style on covers and spine. Paper label with manuscript title "γραμμ. γαζή & απολλωνίου" and the number "12 (from the Florides man. catalogue) added in a different ink on the upper part of spine. Paper label with the number "1198" handwritten in red ink on the bottom part of spine. Red edges. Leaves from manuscript ledger (Venice, 1768-1771) have been used in the binding (other leaves from the same have been used in other bindings of the library's collection).
