Munby's annotated copy of the sale catalogue (now at Cambridge University Library -- see ESTC and ECCO) a note by Richard Heber tentatively identifies W.S. as another member of the Sheldon family, although this cannot be substantiated. The archivist at Christie's points out that a W. Selby made a number of purchases of furniture, and perhaps of other items
