NoteNote in Dutch in a second, 19th century hand on front endpaper: records that this book was purchased at a sale held by the Amsterdam bookseller Frederik Muller, between the 18 and 22 May 1869. This would be item number 194 in Muller's 1869 catalogue, where it is described as being in a half calf binding, with the last leaves missing. In the same hand, a reference is provided to Jules Renouvier, "Histoire de l'origine et des progrès de la gravure dans les Pays-Bas et en Allemagnes ..." (1860). The remainder of the note concerns the sale of a 1505 edition of the same work, for 200 fl. in 1872 (lot number 1130); noting that this copy is older.
Beneath this: bibliographical notes, in a 19th(?) century French hand pasted in on notepaper, which has the following type-written marks: "Aout", "vendredi -- s. Césaire", "239-126".
