Circular library stamp at foot of title-page of indeterminate date, incorporating compasses set in a star formation, with the initials "C. K" at the centre of the star.

This would be item number 194 in Muller's 1869 catalogue, where it is described as being in a half calf binding, with the last leaves missing. In the same hand, a reference is provided to Jules Renouvier, "Histoire de l'origine et des progrès de la gravure dans les Pays-Bas et en Allemagnes ..." (1860). The remainder of the note concerns the sale of a 1505 edition of the same work, for 200 fl. in 1872 (lot number 1130); noting that this copy is older.
Beneath this: bibliographical notes, in a 19th(?) century French hand pasted in on notepaper, which has the following type-written marks: "Aout", "vendredi -- s. Césaire", "239-126".
