In sallusse se morto monsig. Bellaguarda dil mozo di de[cem]bre 1579.
In the Hebrew version the town is called "in the kingdom of France" (indeed it remained French from 1548 to 1601).

Handwritten words added on the margins in many places and sometimes more detailed explanations, mostly in Italian hands (and some are of Ashkenazi type).

It should be after 1795, when the mentioned work by De Rossi was published.
