Binding noteCalfskin, 15th-16th century binding, restored. Boards probably from the 15th century: dark leather cover with simple blind-tooling and holes suggesting the original presence of bosses on both boards. Metal strips fixed along the bottom edge of the front boards and on both the bottom-edge corners; remainings of metal clasps. Later gold-tooled decoration and titling on the spine (probably 19th century).

Manuscript notesMarginal annotations (comments, corrections, keywords), reading marks and running titles from Cornelius Godanus, in a 16th century humanistic handwriting. Keywords, reading marks, curly braces and maniculae in a 15th-16th century gothic script: handwriting very much resembling to that of the rubricator. This same hand writes also some verses under the colophon (K6 v): "Tullius Hesperios cupiens componere mores / Edidit hos libros appellans officiorum / Quo solo ferus exinctus furor est Cathiline / Consilio superum custos directus ad urbem / Lux orbis patriae que salus mens tota senatus / Hic plus soles micat cruciatus propter honestum."
