msNoteManuscript notes on endleaf III r/v in three different anonymous hands with personal notes and comments. On endleaf III v there is a poem about the wheel of fortune. Two pages of handwriting in the back of the composite volume, likely the same hand as the poem (d7v-d8r), more handwriting on d8v, possibly in the same hand.
Some reading marks: pointing hands and underlining. Manuscript title on first page (a1r): hora canonicis.

note18th century exlibris on front pastedown with the coat of arms of the earl of Guildford: a shield with a lion surrounded by three French lilies, held by two chained dragons and topped with a crown. Below is a banner with the family motto: La vertu est la seule noblesse. Underneath the coat of arms is the text: Earl of Guilford Wroxton Abbey. The exlibris could have belonged to three members of the family: Francis North, Frederick North (although Frederick is less likely because he only carried the title of earl for the last two years of his life), or George Augustus North.
