Inscribed 'Madalena orsij' [possibly Maddalena Orsini ?], with the initials 'L W S' interspersed to capital 'M' of the name, on leaf q8 recto, Italy, early17th century. Old shelfmark 'A t̲t̲ A ị ị' in brown ink in upper right corner and priced [?] 'r/n Jt.' in black ink in upper left corner of lower pastedown. Auchincruive Library bookplate, with shelfmark 'D.1.1', crossed away and substituted with 'R.6.' in pencil, on upper pastedown. Notes relating to public fustigations and abjuration in Parma in the years 1584-1588, and to the deaths of Duke Ottavio Farnese (18 September 1586), and the bishops of Parma, Papirio Picedi (4 March 1614) and Alessandro Rossi (24 March 1615), in cursive hand by two different individuals, the second possibly Maddalena Orsi, on leaves N3 verso, N4 verso and N5 verso, Italy, Parma [?], 1584-1588 and 1614-1615.
