AnmerkungPapal bull on the canonization of Duke Leopold III of Austria, given in Rome at St. Peter's, in 1484/85, during Pope Innocent VIII's first year.
Caption title; imprint from ISTC and Goff. Printer also given by ISTC as Printer of the 'Historie von S. Rochus' or Johannes Cassis. Proctor identifies Cassis as the printer.
34 lines; Type: 86 G. Hand-stamped woodcut initial I in capital space on p. [1].
"Some copies have a guide-letter in place of the capital, and the word 'nostri' in the last line misprinted 'nostro'; others have the signature A on Ia. See R.C. Hawkins, Catalogue of Books by the First Printers, 1910, nos. 505, 506" -- BM 15th cent.
Signature: A⁴.
Date suggested by text, which finishes "Datum Rome ... anno incarnationis dominice Millesimo quadringe[n]tesimo octavogesimoquarto. Octavo Idus January po[n]tificatus nostri. Anno primo".

Classmark written in pencil on leaf A4 verso: 2067 RNC.
