Schreiben an den Herausgeber der Greifswaldischen gelehrten Zeitung, in: Neueste critische Nachrichten. 1788, Stück 38, S. 302. - Laut handschriftlicher Notiz im Exemplar der SBB-PK Signatur Rt 3734 ist L. de Veillant ein Pseudonym für Gregorio, Rosario (1753-1809): \"... le nom de Veillant et la date de Malte ne sont qu'empruntés, pour cacher le véritable auteur, le Chanoine Gregorio à Naples.\""
