Francis Cabot Lowell (1775-1817); Credited with establishing the first integrated textile mill in the United States at Waltham, Massachusetts in 1813. The city of Lowell, Massachusetts was named in his honor. There are no portraits of him. This profile is commonly used in publications to represent him.
