Poète et historien. Professeur de grec au Studio de Bologne. Fondateur d'une Accademia Bocchiana, ou "Ermatena", dans laquelle exista une imprimerie (à partir de 1555). Note de regroupement par domaine: Littératures (800).

Conte palatino, letterato, nato a Bologna nel 1488, assunse il soprannome di Filerote. Nel 1546 fondò a Bologna l'Accademia Bocchiana, società tipografica di cui si conoscono edizioni dal 1532 al 1555. Morì a Bologna nel 1562.
