Dessinateur et graveur. - Elève de son père, Filippo Morghen, et de son oncle Giovanni Elia. A vingt ans, son père le plaça à l'école de Rome sous la direction de Domenico Volpato, dont il épousa la fille. En 1793, il fut appellé par le grand-duc Ferdinand III à Florence pour créer une école de gravure. Il exposa au Salon de 1812 à Paris et, en 1816, fut promu Chevalier de la Légion d'Honneur. - Maître de Johann Metzger
