Verheiratet mit Dorothea, der Tochter des Ulmer Buchbinders Christian Lommer. Starb am 07.07.1694 auf der Leipziger Messe. Er druckte u.a. Faber du Faur 862-868 (1687-1693) und mehrere Werke von Everhard Guerner Happel. Die Witwe führte die Druckerei mit Unterstützung des Faktors Matthäus Demmel aus Annaberg bis nach 1700 weiter, ehe der Sohn Christian Ulrich die Firma übernehmen konnte
