Krone im Sinne einer Wiederherstellung der Ordnung in Neapel, geriet jedoch in Opposition zu den radikaleren Kräften der Aufstandsbewegung; von Neapel wurde er zunächst nach Sardinien verschifft; er starb auf der Weiterfahrt nach Mallorca, nach DBI mit abweichendem Todesdatum 1647'
