Cecil (later married C.'s sister Mary), and Wm. Bill. Public orator of univ., 1544 til tutor to Edward, succeeded as orator by Ascham, canon of King's Coll. Ox., incorp. MA Oxford, at dissolution granted priory of Spalding, Lincs., MP for Bletchingley 1547, provost of King's coll., Camb., 1548, 1552 knighted.
