Amos Starr Cooke (1810-1871) was an educator and businessman in the Kingdom of Hawaii. he and his wife founded the Royal School, whose students included the last five monarchs of Hawaii. He then co-founded the firm Castle & Cooke which became a dominating agricultural conglomerate through the 20th century.
