Conte, poeta nato a Vicenza intorno al 1526 e morto nel 1565. Studente a Padova, conobbe Pietro Giunti che nei suoi carmi si denominava Glottochrysius Petrus Fidentius Juncteus. A quest'ultimo l'autore attribuì proprie poesie appropriandosi del medesimo pseudonimo e dando inizio a quel genere di poesia giocosa detta appunto "fidenziana".
