Né probablement à Strasbourg. Reçu bourgeois de Francfort-sur-le-Main en nov. 1594, il se marie et s'établit à cette date. De 1609 à 1619, il exerce à Oppenheim. À son retour à Francfort, il en est à nouveau reçu bourgeois le 1er juillet 1619. Décédé à Bad Schwalbach (Hesse), près de Wiesbaden, en août 1623"
