Sein Exlibris ist ein achteckiges Etikett, darauf abgebildet ein Greifvogel über einem Kind in einer Wiege, umschlossen von einem ovalen Ring mit der Aufschrift: "Jam Fove; Mox Pateant Mihi, Te Duce Luminis Ortus" zu deutsch: "Nun, sei innig umarmt; bald mögen sich mir die Quellen des Lichts öffnen, dich aber sollen sie führen", unter dem Ring der Namenszug des Exlibriseigners: "John Thomas Stanley Esqr. of Alderley"
