Friend of Boece in Paris, Boece praises his eloquence in Vitae Epis. Aberdon. p.88, composed a panegyric of Henry VII (now at NLS) for marriage of dau. Margaret and James IV. Dunlop 197: det. St. Andrews 1476-7. Or: May be one of the Walter Ogilvies admitted to Marischal Coll., 1606 and 1637, or admitted to King's Coll., 1609 or 1638.
