"London goldsmiths family: Nicolas and Henry (c.1509), and R. Warley c1516 (Jackson p.239-40). One Thomas adm. livery 1482, one gentleman d.1506, ="gentleman of Calyce (Calais?)" son of Henry (alderman 1511), had stock in Goldsmiths' Co. 1534." A John Warley, merchant of London, lic. to eat meat and milk foods during Lent, 1545, also a J.W. (same?) married Marg. Smytton Dec. 1540 (Chambers, Fac.Off.Reg. p.249, 227). John W. of Coveham, Surr., gent. and Thomas W., goldsmith, bought wood of Merton
