Queen's Coll. fellow 1498, 1497 given leave to study abroad with Wm. Blount (Lord Mountjoy),BA Paris 1498, Chpl. to Bp. Foxe, entered Syon monastery 1507, resistant to new religion, friend of More and Erasmus. Received pension from Syon 1539, afterwards returned to household of Lord Mountjoy. Wrote devotional treatises for nuns. His uncle of the same name owned land in Flint, N.Wales and in Lancs., benefactor to Syon, entered Syon before his nephew, d.1511
