Lochis acquistò l'opera da Carlo Francesco Longhi\" [1]\"Il fiero gentiluomo, in passato identificato con Cesare Borgia, è raffigurato a mezzo busto, sullo sfondo di un paesaggio temporalesco attraversato da due misteriose figure.
