Dezember 1779 geborene David Samuel Roller (Name und Datum so im Kirchenbuch von Heynitz) hatte einen Bruder Samuel David, der am 26. Dezember 1777 geboren wurde, jedoch im darauffolgenden November verstarb. David Samuel war offenbar lange der Meinung, die Stellung seiner Vornamen sei Samuel David; ebenso feierte er seinen Geburtstag am Weihnachtsfeiertag und gab mehrfach 1777 als Geburtsdatum an. Offenbar hat er die wahren Verhältnisse aber noch zu Lebzeiten mitbekommen.'
