war ein englischer Landschaftsgärtner und Schriftsteller in sozialen Angelegenheiten. Er war auch der erste bemerkenswerte Quäker-Dichter, obwohl er in der Neuzeit nur für ein einziges antimilitaristisches Gedicht in Erinnerung bleibt.
