Historien ; auteur d'une “Histoire ecclésiastique” dont la 1re partie est connue sous le nom d'“Historia tripartita”. Lecteur à la basilique Sainte-Sophie de Constantinople dans la 1re moitié du 6e siècle. Ne pas confondre avec Theodōros 'o 'Agiopetritēs, scribe et enlumineur du 13e siècle, également surnommé “Anagnōstēs” (lecteur).
