Nom patronymique : Marguerite Lanséart. - Épouse Lawrence I Kellam en 1601 à Valenciennes. Succède à son mari, devenu imprimeur-libraire à Douai et décédé en 1613. Travaille seule jusqu'en 1618, puis en association avec leur fils aîné Thomas Kellam jusqu'au décès de celui-ci en 1620. Leur fils cadet Lawrence II Kellam lui succède
Marguerite Lanseart was a native from the Low Countries. She probably married Laurence Kellam in Louvain, where their first son Thomas was born around 1595/6. Lanseart continued the printing business after the death of her husband. She is first mentioned under her own name in the Plantin account books on 29 November 1629 (Museum Plantin Moretus, Arch., 129/82 and 1076/37v-38r) and a first edition with her imprint relates to an event held in the Collège d'Anchin on 14 December of the same year. In 1618 and 1619 she seems to have worked together with her eldest son Thomas, as their editions also mention his name on the imprint. After Thomas' death (probably in April 1619) Lanseart continued the printing office until 1620. She was succeeded by another son, Laurence II.
