Imprimeur-libraire et papetier. - Natif de Bungay (Suffolk). Fils de Thomas Miller, libraire à Bungay. Travaille pour l'imprimeur-libraire londonien Thomas Hookham en 1787, puis, en 1790, s'établit à son compte ; libraire officiel du duc de Clarence (1790-1804). En 1804 s'installe 50, Albemarle street et s'agrandit en 1807 au 49 de la même rue. À sa retraite, en 1812, John II Murray rachète son fonds et lui succède
