In 1816 she probably taught Peter Buchan to print in 'ten days service'. In 1820 she retired, perhaps at the instance of her son who had made a large fortune in Glasgow, and sold the business to William Macnie. She died 28 November 1847, age 71, and was buried beside her husband in Holy Rude Churchyard in Stirling. 340 11$8eng$a1813-1820$xa1813a1820 350 1$0acti$8eng$aprinter, bookseller and circulating library 515 1$0actv$aStirling$dBaker Street and Vennel Close$z1813-1820$3cnl00026748 801 $aUK$bNLS-SBTI$c20080207 830 $aSBTI original entry: RANDALL, Mary Stirling 830 $aWarning: the SBTI information was converted from unstructured format by automation.
