General Note

Married Isobel Donaldson, daughter of the late James Donaldson, merchant and Burgess 25 October 1710. Much of his printing was of Last dying speeches of criminals and such ephemera. Published a number of children's books. “An hundred godly lessons” 1718 and “Early soliloquies” 1719 are in the National Library of Scotland.
