Variantes de prénom: Jean-Philippe; Johannes Philippus. Imprimeur-libraire et fondeur de caractères. Fils et successeur de l'imprimeur-libraire de Francfort Johann II Andreae. Reçu bourgeois de Francfort le 1er mars 1681, il s'établit la même année. Décédé à Francfort le 25 déc. 1722. Inventaire après décès le 2 mars 1723.A travaillé en association avec son frère Johann Nikolaus Andreae, imprimeur à Herborn, à partir de 1686.
