General Note
Peter Jöransson Nyström married Andreas Biörkman’s widow in 1731 and took over the Biörkman printing house. He was among the more important printers and publishers in Stockholm during many years, but his business suffered seriously in a great fire in 1751. He did resume the business, but it seems as if he never overcome economic difficulties from then on. In 1759 his foreman, Carl Stolpe, became his partner and the imprint was changed to reflect it.
