General Note

Anders Graesler, of German extraction, saved and bought part of Aron Holm’s printing house, which burnt down in 1723. He had the type material recast in Lübeck, but it isn’t entirely clear whether he was ever approved by the printers’ guild. His imprint appears first in 1730. He sold the business to Carl Johansson Röpke in 1738.
