Carl Johansson Röpke was a foreman in the printing house of Werner's widow until 1738, when he bought his own business from Anders Graesler. He ran his printing house until some time in 1746, when he sold it to Peter Momma. Simultaneously, he ran the printing house of J.L. Horrn as a foreman and continued in that capacity even after it had passed on to Lars Salvius in 1742.
