      text: 'Johann August Barth trat 1797 als Faktor in die Firma ein, wurde 1798 Teilhaber und übernahm sie 1799 als Besitzer. Er erweiterte die Offizin u.a. um eine Verlagshandlung und eine Notendruckerei. Die Firma fungierte bis 1802 unter dem Namen "Graßes seel. Erben und Barth", dann Graß & Barth. Johann August Barth starb 1818, die Firma wurde vom Kompagnon und Schwiegersohn Carl Siegismund Zäschmar für die Erben weitergeführt. 1842 übernahm Sohn Nikolaus Hermann Barth die Firma'
