Johan Billingsley, according to one source, was the stepson of Johan Georg Eberdt and inherited his printing house in early 1691. In 1693 he moved his roman type material to Strängnäs and ran the diocese printing house there, but continued his business in Stockholm. He died in 1695, and his widow continued the printing house in Stockholm. In Strängnäs he was succeeded by Johannes Rönberg.
