      text: "Tipografo e libraio, originario di Volciano presso Salò, attivo a Cagliari. Diresse la stamperia di Niccolò Canelles, che gliela cedette per due anni nel 1571, associandosi a lui per il commercio librario. Oltre a gestire la libreria di Canelles, Sembenino ne possedeva una in proprio, affidata a suo fratello Fabio. Sposò Speranza Ordà e ne ebbe cinque figli. Nel 1576 lasciò la tipografia di Canelles per lavorare come speziale. Da un documento del 1595 risulta già morto in quell'anno."
