General Note
Benjamin Gottlieb Schneider was Jacob Wilde’s foreman in Historiographi Regni boktryckeri 1722 and probably until 1726, when he started his own printing-house. He died in 1738, and his widow, Rachel Speck, continued the business until 1739, when she married L.L. Grefing, and the Schneider imprint ceases to exist.
