General Note

Fu istituita da Fra Simone da Cremona alla fine del secolo XIV o agli inizi del secolo XV. La casa madre fu il convento napoletano di San Giovanni a Carbonara, dove risiedeva abitualmente il vicario. Nel 1947 fu unita alla Provincia di Napoli degli Agostiniani scalzi.
The Congregation of St. John ad Carbonariam (founded ca. 1390) had 14 convents (4 of which still exist).
