The Scottish Book Trade Index is compiled and maintained by the National Library of Scotland. It lists the names, trades and addresses of people involved in printing in Scotland up to 1850, including printers, publishers, booksellers, bookbinders, printmakers, stationers, and papermakers. Currently the Scottish Book Trade Index exists separately from the British Book Trade Index (BBTI), which covers England and Wales.
