General NoteJohn Boyle married Elizabeth Jopp about 1764. He was admitted Burgess of Aberdeen 17 August 1765. 'Partnership between Bruce and Boyle hath for some time past been dissolved, and is now wholly carried on by John Boyle ... On the first Thursday of November next will be published Number III of the Family Bible and Number VII. of Willison's Works.' “Aberdeen Journal 16 October 1769”.
