Altre informazioniBrother of Jean-Claude Bozerian. He started working in Lyon, before 1789, then moved to Paris. Known for his abundant production of decorated bindings in neo-classical style. He did much work for the Bibliothèque impériale, on the request of Joseph Van Praet, particularly for the incunabula of the Réserve des Imprimés. He retired around 1818-1819, his place taken by Motet, who kept working in the Rue de la Sorbonne. His signature is usually found at the base of the lower cover, in two forms: « rel. p. bozerian jeune » « rel. par bozerian jeune »; sometimes also on a label « bozerian le j. » or « bozerian jeune » (BnFr reliures; BL Database of bookbindings).
